The Community Resource Center is pleased to announce the arrival of some new additions to our "Resource Wall" on Founders 2. The three brochures from Health Care for All provide health insurance information for our patients who aren’t eligible for traditional MassHealth. "CommonHealth: Health care assistance for children and adults with disabilities" describes the program that provides health insurance for Massachusetts’ working disabled adults, disabled adults who have income too high to qualify for MassHealth, and disabled children under 17 who do not qualify for MassHealth. "COBRA: Continuing your group health coverage after you lose your job" covers eligibility, ‘qualifying events’, benefits, and rights and obligations related to COBRA. And "What you need to know about Nongroup health insurance in Massachusetts" answers frequently asked questions about purchasing private insurance, and includes a list of Nongroup Insurers who sell coverage in Massachusetts.
