Many times needy people do not qualify for Food Stamps, or they find that the benefits
they receive are not enough to feed their families. The following are descriptions compiled by Project Bread
of food programs throughout the state of Massachusetts that help feed thousands of people.

IRis has the location of over 160 food pantries by city.
Families with Children
For low and moderate income pregnant or breast-feeding women, and children under age 5 who are at nutritional risk.
For children 18 years or younger during the summer months. Free nutritious breakfast, lunch or snacks at local community sites.
Free nutrition education for low-income families with young children.
Families with Elders
Provides nutritious meals to all seniors 60 years and older regardless of income for a small fee or a donation.
