PRIVACY ALERT

Since some of you expressed concern about the department's proposed "face-book" because of security reasons you may want to know about this: the June Focus reports that the Mass. Division of Registration is planning on putting information online about all state licensees. This would include either a hometown or zip code. It was also news to this writer that this information currently is public information and available through a phone call to the Division. Focus offers the alternatives of using your workplace address or a PO box for your identifying address on your license. NASW has, and is continuing to lobby against this policy.
