TROUBLESHOOTING IRis 2.0
On April 6 the CRC rolled-out a new, more powerful, version of IRis. It is a Windows version that has much expanded searching capabilities. Approximately 50 staff took advantage of the training offered by the CRC..
For those of you who weren't able to attend or chose not to, please be aware that the password to get into IRis has changed. Your password is no longer a special IRis password, that for most people was part of their old HSWIS ID. The "user id" is now the same as your user name that you use in logging onto any computer. Usually this is your initials, which then may or may not be followed by one or two numbers.
You may not be used to entering this if you only use your own computer as it comes up automatically. If you don't know your user name on your own computer just press the lock icon (lower right of the screen). It will take you out to the Partners' screen saver and it then gives you your user name both on the screen saver and again when you press resume user.
