NEW NAME FOR HEBREW CENTER FOR THE AGED
The Hebrew Rehabilitation Center for the Aged is now “Hebrew SeniorLife”. It also has a new website: hebrewseniorlife.org.
Hebrew SeniorLife is a network of care for the elderly which sponsors Hebrew Rehabilitation Center, a 675-bed long- and short-term care facility in Boston; three apartment complexes for seniors - Jack Satter House in Revere, Simon C. Fireman Community in Randolph and Center Communities of Brookline; the organization’s Research and Training Institute in Boston; and Orchard Cove, a “life-care” or “continuing care” retirement community in Canton. Hebrew SeniorLife also offers services to the community, including “Great Days for Seniors”, an adult day health program at the Center and in Brighton, and outpatient clinics in audiology, exercise, memory disorders, osteoporosis and rehabilitation.
The Roslindale campus, where direct inpatient and outpatient care is provided to seniors, will continue to be known as Hebrew Rehabilitation Center. Each facility will retain its individual name while also being identified as part of the Hebrew SeniorLife family.
