MassHealth Cost-of-living Adjustments

MassHealth Eligibility Letter 132, released May 1, 2005 provides cost-of-living adjustments for several programs including the following. They are retroactively effective to January 1, 2005.

• The maximum monthly spousal maintenance needs allowance increased from $2,319 t0 $2,377.50.
• The minimum assets that can be kept by an institutionalized individual’s spouse increased from $18,552 to $19,020.

The maximum assets that can be kept by an institutionalized individual’s spouse increased from $92,760 to $95,100.
