Boston Housing Authority Opens Wait List

The Boston Housing Authority (BHA) has re-opened their waiting list (note: this does not meant there are open units). They will use a computerized random lottery process to determine the waiting list placement of applications submitted between July 11 and July 29, 2005. After July 29, 2005, the waiting lists will remain open, but will be prioritized based on date received and the usual Priority and Preference categories (such as disabled, elderly, etc.). BHA applicants currently on the waitlist do not need to reapply.

Applications are available at the John F. Murphy Housing Service Center (56 Chauncy Street, Boston) or by calling (617) 988-4200 or (617) 988- 4549. Application are also available on the BHA website: www.bostonhousing.org/detpages/hservices368.html

For more information or questions, call (617) 988-4200 or (617) 998-4549.
