The Massachusetts Women's Health Network (WHN) provides outreach and free medical screening services to income- eligible, uninsured or underinsured women for the early detection of breast and cervical cancer, heart disease and stroke.
Eligible women live in Massachusetts, have limited income, have no other insurance that covers this service, and be 40 to 64 years of age. Exceptions do apply if a younger woman has a personal history of breast or ovarian cancer, or has received radiation to the chest, been referred by a clinician, never had a Pap test, or did not have a Pap test in the past 5 years. Other exceptions also include older women who are not eligible for Medicare Part B.
