NONANTUM VILLAGE CONGREGATE HOUSE - NEW ENHANCED CARE FLOOR

Springwell, the west-suburban Boston ASAP, in collaboration with the Newton Housing Authority announces the opening of a new Enhanced Care floor in the Nonantum Village Congregate House, in Newton. Nonantum Village Congregate House opened in the mid-1980s. The Enhanced Care floor aims to provide a higher level of support and oversight within a congregate living setting. This enhanced care includes: daily assistance with ADLs & IADLS, as well as access to an evening PCA or homemaker. This program hopes to enable elders who previously would have been referred to hospitals or nursing homes, to remain safely within the community.
