FOOD STAMPS APPLICATION NOW ONLINE

The "consumer face" of the Virtual Gateway for food stamp applications is now available statewide. This means that individuals can apply through the Virtual Gateway from their homes or local libraries or other locations where they have internet access. It also means that community agencies not registered as "providers" with the Virtual Gateway can file applications for clients. (Note: this is for new applications only. Those with a pending application should contact their DTA office.) Click here and then select “Apply Online”. On the next page put a check-mark next to Food Stamps and any other programs of interest, and then click the “Continue” button at the bottom of the page.

MIRA is interested in monitoring the accessibility of this resource for immigrants. If you have any questions, please contact Carly Burton at cburton@miracoalition.org or 617-350-5480 ext. 208.
