HEALTH SAFETY NET CO-PAYS GRID

Partners community benefits has released an easy-to-use grid that should help staff quickly determine which patients are subject to what level of co-pay under the Health Safety Net program. Patients may have some level of coverage under the Health Safety Net in addition to certain other insurance coverage so there are several distinct and potentially confusing scenarios. Please not e that, as reported in last month’s MGH Community News, the pharmacy co-pays for those with Health Safety Net only, that were to go into effect on 12/1/07, have been delayed until 3/3/08
