MGH ADDICTION RECOVERY MANAGEMENT SERVICE (ARMS) OPENS
The Addiction Recovery Management Service (ARMS) provides rapid access to information and support combined with outreach and care management for youth aged 15 - 25 and their families suffering from substance-related problems. ARMS is designed to provide ongoing recovery support, treatment engagement support, relapse risk assessment, relapse intervention planning, and recovery management. ARMS is intended to be at least a year long engagement between the patient, family, and the Program. Care management/coordination services are provided in three-month packages. These care management services go beyond the usual clinical care offered by substance abuse treatment programs. The bulk of ARMS services are not reimbursable by health insurance programs.
For more information please contact ARMS by phone at 617-643-4699, by email at mailto:armsmgh@partners.org, or visit: www.massgeneral.org/allpsych/ARMS.
