Scam Alert: TruLink Wireless Seems to Spoof Safelink Wireless

The National Consumer Law Center ,through its Utility Network listserv, recently circulated a warning of a company that appears to be charging consumers $30 to do nothing more than funnel an application to Safelink Wireless. Safelink Wireless by TracFone Wireless, Inc., offers free cellphones and 80 minutes of free service monthly to low income people, as reported previously in this space (MGH Community News , January 2009). So, buy beware!
