What’s new on our website?

1. New links to online courses and demos for Word and e-mail/Outlook 2003 have been added to our pre-existing Computer Instructions page. See: www.mghsocialwork.org > staff access > Computer Instructions.
2. As part of the department’s Excellence Every Day efforts: the following Documentation tools have been developed by Abby MacDonald:
   1. Updated department policy on documentation when a patient is at risk of self-harm or suicide. (www.mghsocialwork.org > staff access > Documentation - Risk of Self-Harm or Suicide, also incorporated into the complete documentation policy).
   2. Documentation templates are now available for inpatient assessments, brief services notes and progress notes (www.mghsocialwork.org > staff access > Documentation- Templates).
   3. SBAR (Situation-Background-Assessment-Recommendation) is the HAND-OFF STANDARD for the Social Service Department. Learn more with the instruction sheet posted on the website: (www.mghsocialwork.org > staff access > SBAR- Hand–offs).
