Booklet- “Beyond Financial Aid: 2010 Guide to Extra Help for Low-Income Adult Students
The Crittendon Women’s Union and the Mass. Law Reform Institute have collaborated to create a new publication “ Beyond Financial Aid: 2010 guide to extra help for low-income adult students”. Sometimes the rules about who is eligible for public benefits, such as housing assistance, food stamps, or unemployment insurance, are different for students. Beyond Financial Aid explains Food Stamps/SNAP, Transitional Assistance to Families with Dependent Children (TAFDC), Health Insurance, Child Care financial assistance, Unemployment Insurance, Subsidized Housing and Tax Benefits in plain language.
