VA Boston Healthcare System Wheelchair Clinics

VA primary care providers can refer patients to one of the VA Boston “Wheelchair Clinics” available at the Brockton, Jamaica Plain, and West Roxbury VA campuses.

There are two types of wheelchair seating and mobility clinics offered at VA Boston: one for  spinal cord injury and disease patients and the other for general medical patients. Clinic staff work to provide the most appropriate custom seating system to meet the needs of individuals with advanced seating requirements. Correct selection of a mobility system and seating can maximize functional independence, reduce the risk of deformities, and prevent skin breakdown.
