Program Highlight:  Dementia Residence Opening at
Leonard Florence Center for Living

 

The Leonard Florence Center for Living, located on Admiral's Hill in Chelsea, MA, is the nation's first urban model Green House® nursing home.  The facility includes short-term rehabilitation and combines the comforts of home with individualized skilled nursing care.

The program recently announced the planned opening of their new Dementia Residence to join its existing MS and ALS programs. The specialized residence will feature dementia-specific activities for each of the ten residents. This secured home is designed to be comfortable at every turn with open floor plan living.  A full working kitchen at the center of the house provides meals served  family-style at a single dining table.
