Most 'Locked-In Syndrome' Patients
Are Happy
In the largest survey of its kind, most locked-in syndrome (LIS) patients report that they are, in fact, happy. Only a few of these patients report that they are very unhappy, and many of the reasons they blame for their unhappiness could be improved, researchers from Belgium and France write.
