Patrick Postpones Cuts to Elder and Disabled Services

Patrick Administration officials for announced that more than $10 million in proposed cuts to programs that serve the elderly and developmentally disabled adults, which were slated to take effect March 15, 2011, have been postponed indefinitely.   

Cuts were to include a $3.3 million to the rates paid to adult day health programs, a $4 million to adult foster care, and a $5 million to day habilitation programs.
