Federal COBRA Subsidy Ends
One of the provisions of the federal stimulus package (the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act) provided a 65% COBRA premium subsidy for those who were involuntarily terminated from employment. This program stopped taking new applicants after May 2010. As of August 21, 2011 those last applicants have reached their 15 month limit on premium subsidies.
