WEBSITE TO VISIT: MEDSCAPE

Designed to offer medical information to professionals, Medscape is a web-site that offers summaries and some full-text articles on current research findings. You can also subscribe to weekly "emailings" called "Medpulse". These provide brief abstracts of the current research on a topic(s) of your choice. A couple of our mental health staff have reviewed the Medpulse- psychiatry option and recommend it. To sign-up (you can always unsubscribe if it is not to your liking) visit www.medscape.com. Enter your user profile- you do need to give your year of birth- and at the bottom will be a listing of available topics. You just check-off the one(s) you want. Other topics include transplantation, cardiology, and women's health.
