NEW INPATIENT CHILD PSYCHIATRY UNITS

According to the Boston Globe, two new inpatient child psychiatry programs are opening. New England Medical Center's Floating Hospital for Children will reopen their unit, closed 8 years ago, on August 15. They will have 14 beds for children under 12. Carney Hospital is opening their program gradually over the summer, also with 14 beds. The first 5 of these opened last month. This program serves teenagers.
