NEW ONLINE AVAILABILITY OF PSYCHOSOCIAL ABSTRACTS

Treadwell library has announced the availability of 4 new social sciences databases available through their webpage. Staff can search PsychInfo, Social Services Abstracts, Sociological Abstracts and Eric. Go to www.mgh.harvard.edu/library/library.htm. This writer found the site easy to use and liked the ability to search these all simultaneously. Note that these are only abstracts. For complete articles one would need to go through the standard procedure of determining if Treadwell has the journal in question and, if not, getting the article sent via interlibrary loan, for a significant fee per article.
