The President’s New Freedom Commission on Mental Health has a website at www.mentalhealthcommission.gov, which provides a great deal of information about the commission and its actions. The Commission is soliciting public comment from stakeholders in the mental health community. The purpose of obtaining public comment is to assist the Commission in formulating an action plan for the President that will improve America's mental health service delivery system. Instructions are available on the site. The website also has a particularly useful link at the bottom of the page called "Mental Health Resources" which links to "Mental Health: The Cornerstone of Health." Topics include federal agencies and programs, disease-specific organizations and other useful links. You can search by mental health topic or agency. Some Spanish language resources are available as well.
