DENTAL RESOURCES

Those affected by the recent MassHealth cuts can try to access services from local dental schools. Boston University, Harvard and Tufts dental schools all offer reduced-cost dental clinics. There is also a program for those who have no dental insurance from the Massachusetts Dental Society called "Dentistry for All" (HTTP://WWW.MASSDENTAL.ORG/PUBLIC/DFA.htm?DOC_ID=31 also listed in IRis), that provides reduced fee dental care from participating dentists for those with no dental coverage. When contacted for this story they reported that they will not be changing their eligibility criteria- those with MassHealth still are not eligible- but they recommend that those with existing relationships with their dentist ask for a reduced rate.
