IRIS TIP OF THE MONTH:
DTA OFFICES

Boston ElderInfo, the program that provides most of our IRis data, uses the keyword "Welfare" for DTA offices. We used the keywords "DTA" and "Dept. of Transitional Assist" when we added additional offices. The problem: if you searched under "DTA" or "Dept. of Transitional Assist" you would not find the Boston ElderInfo listings. To avoid this confusion we are phasing out the use of these two keywords.

To help in this transition we have added pop-up messages to these keywords in desktop IRis that direct you to look under the appropriate keyword. Unfortunately these messages are not available in IRis for the Web. Shortly we will remove these keywords from the system entirely.

To find DTA offices please look under the keyword: WELFARE.
