NEW PROGRAM FROM THE NEW ENGLAND ORGAN BANK

The New England Organ Bank is increasing their services to donor families by hiring "Family Counselors". Family Counselors are available 24 hours-a-day to assist hospital staff in providing crisis intervention to donor families. Donor families are also eligible for aftercare services that include letters informing them of general information about the organ recipient(s), mediated correspondence with recipients (if desired), phone support, information and referral and an annual Donor Ceremony.
